Hello Warriors,

I have written some articles I submitted to ezinearticles.com, but I discovered that my articles are not getting much views.

I am thinking of building backlink (back link) for the articles at least to help increase the traffic.

The problem now is that I don't have idea on how I can easily build back link to these articles.

Anyone who has a method of building backlink for articles easily should kindly reveal this.

Your idea is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey moneyspills, before you go into building backlinks for your articles did you do a bit of research on the competition for the terms you are looking to rank for? Did you make sure the terms get a lot of searches. If you didn't I would make sure that the terms are worth the effort to rank for.

If you are looking for a backlink buuilding strategy there are many sources you can look at. Directory submission, other articles linking to your original articles, web 2.0 profiles, link exchanges and many more. The best strategy to build links to to diversify your link portfolio and make sure you have some links from a lot of different sources..

I have done research on the keyword and it has a lot of searches, and I also made sure that the keywords are long tail keywords with not more than 2000 searches.

Can you give me site for Directory submission

There is one thing that I have noticed that works for me:

Since you are trying to ride the PR of the article directory, first gather the average PR ranking of the first page of google for your keyword without quotes. If it totals less than 3.0 ( lower the better ), then it is a good keyword to write an article around.

Each time I use this method I usually land somewhere on the first page of google right away, about 70 - 80% of the time. That way if I want to boost the rankings then, I can give it a few backlinks to get it up there.

Anyways, give that a try and see what happens.

I can not say you will get the same results, but you should get something close.

Yes, eventually they will fall off the first page, IF its for a competitive term. I have seen some of my articles stay on the first page for quite a few months, and even just recently some just fell to the 2nd page.

Like I said, give that a try, see what happens.

Ok, if you use firefox, then get the SEO plugin for FF. This will give you the stats for websites when searched.

However, currently I just use this tool to get the PR ranking for the websites on the first page.

So I would do a search for my given keyword, then I would calculate the top 10 rankings for it, and divide by 10. This will give me the average PR for the first page of google.

Since you are using EZA authority to help rank your article, going with an average PR of 3 or lower should get your article ranking pretty high, and most times for me on the first page of google almost right away. Then just use some backlinks to boost its placing.

Now, yes some people are saying to not bother with trying to backlink your articles or websites that you don't own personally. Which I think is pretty misleading. It is far easier to rank an EZA article, or a squidoo lens and get traffic from them to your website, than it is to get your website ranking high off the bat. And since those pages will count as backlinks towards your website anyways, its honestly a win win.

You can get traffic from the high ranking articles and lenses, as well as helping your site out with backlinks along the way.

I could have just bet Alexa was going to say something here and make a few easy bucks...

Just go with what she's telling you. Post on your site and backlink THOSE articles.

    Have fun!

In my opinion, it is best to rank both your blog post and your article in the article directories. First, you'll get more link juice from the backlinks of your article and gain more spots on the serps since you have two of your articles ranking for a term. You can also add a youtube video in your backlinking campaign giving you another spot in the serps and extra traffic for your website. =) Hope this helps. =)
