For newbies getting started on here, what wso's would you guys recommend? What would be on your best and most important list? Which ones are the "must haves" for a person new to seo? Which ones do you wish someone had told you to buy when you first got started on here.

SEO isn't secretive. You will find most of the information for free on this and other dedicated SEO sites/forums. Google and other search engines are changing rapidly so unfortunately a product will go out of date pretty quickly. The basics have been the same for years. Everyones opinion also differs on even the most basic SEO principles so it is hard to find anything based on fact and not fear and assumption.

If you want to get a real good grasp on SEO then I recommend you dig up some patents the search engines have lodged and do some reading yourself. Draw your own conclusions.

Every comment that you read that says something is true, try and find something that proves it wrong. If you can't prove it wrong than it is likely true.

If someone says something is fact, look even harder to see if they are wrong.

Google results are based on relevance and sorted by authority.

Many courses just regurgitate their own spin of keyword in the domain/URL; keyword in the title, keyword in the description, keyword in the H1; density of < 5%.

Probably the easiest way to go is to copy what the other top 10 results are doing for the keyword you are trying to target. Add in backlinks to match and go from there.

As you can tell, I have read many SEO courses/books/guides and nearly all of them have caused a groan as I think to myself - I already know that!

  Opoque- Bumblogging(Complete business program)
  
  Sara Young- Article Income Blueprint(Great course and teacher)

  Lisa Gergets- Her coaching programs(Great teacher. I bought her wso, not her coaching program, but the coaching program is receiving rave reviews.
  
  Kevin Riley- Any of his "Product Creation" Products
  (These have to do with video, article writing, creating your own products)
  Kevin's knowledge and teaching are some of the best you will find
  Lisann- Inline Seo(Best course on SEO I have bought.)
  
  ccmusicman-Slap Ezinarticles(Great wso on article marketing)
  
  Zeuss66- Adsense coaching program.(One of the best at Adsense on this forum)
  
  JohnXfactor-Adsense Mastery course.
  (Good basic understanding of setting up a Adsense business)
  
  Daniel Brock-Amazon Affiliate wso(Will get you started and making money promoting Amazon products.)
  
  CPA- wso's by:
  Kenster-has 2 wso's that are good
  Dean Shannin-Has 1 wso on cpa that is good
  Pauli888-Sneaky CPA Secrets
  Jeremy & Don work this heavily-Look for their bootcamps
  
  With the CPA wso's you have to watch out as many are outdated methods, can get
  saturated easily, are blackhat and will die out quickly, or they are just rehashed methods
  repackaged and the OP has never made money with them because they do not work.
  
  Kevin Taylor(Cashflow88)- He has 2 wso's which are good.
  
  Matthew Olson-Postcard Marketing(All the information you need to succeed. Investment to buy list will be required and to have postcards printed and mailed.) This is one comprehensive wso on this effective marketing system.
  
  Mark Hess- Has several wso's out which will work for you.
  
  Jonathan Leger-The Best Spinner-The best article spinner I have used.
  
  There are others and I am sorry if I left any out.

  Warrior Plus lists a WSO of the day. I would say that these WSOs are probably the best as to be chosen, the WSO has to sell a lot of copies. There is a new one each week day.
  
  You can become a member by going to WarriorPlus and signing up. It is free, and you can get daily alerts on various types of WSOs or certain sellers. Or you can get a notice of the WSO of the day, or just go to the site to see what it might be.
