How is that even possible?

I'm guessing this isn't quite the 68% of the revenue they were bragging about not long ago.

Do you have your ads set to both image and text? If so, you had a banner ad show a few times and in most cases the payout for an image banner is only a fraction of a penny. They are calculated at PPV/CPM rates.

OK, I did a little more investigating, and I may have figured it out.

This site is just a one-page throw-away site essentially. If my analytics are correct, I had one visitor from Pakistan (which is unusual), and it looks as if they clicked on ads three different times. >> Clicked and came back. >> Clicked and came back. >> Then clicked again for a third time.

That would explain it, I guess.

      Narh - it actually doesn't!

      3 clicks = 1 cent = FAIL!

If a visitor clicks 3 times on ads, then you should get paid 3 times - unless it's the EXACT same ad! If the visitor clicked 3 different ads then you should get 3 different amounts.

        Can you back this up?

It seems to me that you will only ever get paid once, no matter how many clicks you get on each page!

I cant be sure of this, but in my experience this seems to be the norm, not sure I agree with it though!!

Well yes, I would say that I can?

My CTR have been over 100% a bunch of times! 10 visitors / 18 clicks for example! This happens quite often actually.. For me...

How much is a bunch of times?

You are actually forgetting that you have no idea which clicks were
invalid unless you are checking after each and every click.

            10 visitors, 18 clicks, may mean 10 visitors, 3 clicks, 15 invalid.

When people get 10 visitors, 18 clicks a bunch of times, you need to
check what kind of traffic you are attracting.

I have been paid before for the same user clicking on more than one ad -- and that's the way it should be. (e.g. 5 visitors and 7 clicks)

I would agree that if the a user clicks on the same ad more than once within a certain time span, then the advertiser should only be charge once.

Only time you get paid decent money is if that visitor is of valuable to the advertiser. If he is from a foreign country that is not targeted by the ad. Your job as a publisher is to make sure that you provide valuable customers for the person placing the ad.
Adsense is not a free money program that Google runs out the goodness of their heart
