With Google's new caffeine (or even old) do you think it would cause a problem if I had several smaller sites that all offer different content and are updated regularly, that the call to action on those sites points back to my one money site?

Or should I have everything just remain onsite and not involve my other site?

Thanks!

No one can really know for sure but I like to follow that same method and haven't noticed any harm. As long as the sites are related and the whole network isn't interlinked you shouldn't have any dramas.

The benefit of the satellite sites is that you diversify your portfolio. If one site gets penalised you at least have the others to carry the burden.

Don't go over the top though - 100's of sites is different to a dozen.

Building tons of sites is a lot of work and money. I would suggest just building one large site as it will make your life much easier. Just don't do anything that will get your site banned from the search engines as it could create some problems for sure.

Yeah, I agree. I started out with many simple sites, hard to work my bone off posting and updating.
