An article/backlinking question..

Hi Warriors - I've been trying to research article marketing as best I can so I can dive in with a plan, so far this forum has been fantastic but there's a question I still need help with.

A few warriors have suggested a method similar to this:

Write an article -> post the FULL article on your main blog, post a summary of it on a secondary blog and point it back to the main blog -> rewrite it (or not) and submit to article directories and point any links back to the main blog post...

Methods can differ slightly, but you see what I'm getting at.

I'm confused by the secondary blog part. I am thinking it's a bit like backlinking your backlinks in a way or a way to have more links pointing at your main blog - but I'm just unsure.

What would be the main benefit of this strategy. I am making an assumption that the secondary blog is for nothing more than summaries of articles and pointing to the main blog. Maybe that's where I'm going wrong! haha

Thanks in advance warriors..

Christine

i'd advise against any form of content duping... but thats just me.

Hmm, well I wasn't that worried about dup content - but more in the reasoning behind the method.

Any warriors who use this method can shed some light?

    Thanks,

Christine, that sounds like an awful about of work. Why not write one full article for you site and then use an article spinner (preferably one that you can get backlinks in your category) and spin it into many versions with your keyword linked back to your site. That has worked for me but maybe yours gets a better result??
