Hey there...

So... My Goog Webmaster tools says that 60 URLs for my sitemap have been indexed, but when I search directly, I only see 5 or 6 results...

Could you guys help me and tell me watup? Thanks.

I'll get you guys ice cream some day for all the awesome input so far for my other SEO questions...

It sounds like you're becoming a stat-a-holic. Stop trying to count links. Instead, go out and get some more links or create new content.

      Hey,

Not really I create about 25 articles each day and post them on the site. Just want to get them indexed, so that I can go and do some article marketing. That's why I want to get as many of them indexed as possible. I want to use this content to get some backlinks, but first I want to get credit for it... you know.

      Thanks!
      Morgan

How long have these pages been published/online for?

In my experience, Google Wembaster Tools sitemap section is pretty fast to pick up and report new pages as being indexed, but it can take a few extra days or up to a week or so before they'll actually display in Google when I do a site:domain.com lookup.

Hang in there, they'll show up eventually. Meanwhile keep publishing your content and/or building your links. No time to waste :-)

The oldest article is a week old, The newest one is from today. Glad to know that that sitemap thing is actualy normal. I am like brand new to SEO, so it scares me a little

I have much better ways of getting everything indexed, try some social bookmarking and blog commenting, which will not require much effort. If you are writing 25 articles per day, it wont be much difficult for them to get indexed.

I recently found great tool that helps to index web pages.

It is called Traffic Bug - and speeds up the whole process greatly. It has its trial version, just try it.

It submits automatically to directories, rss directories, social bookmarking sites, and pings everything nicely. All automated.

      Enjoy!
