How to do a 301 url link?

I have a website that I created some time ago using WikkaWiki but now I'm considering moving the whole thing over to wordpress.
I know within my cpanel I can do a 301 redirect of the whole site pointing to the new wordpress site but what if I just want to 301 redirect one page at a time?
I've tried doing it within my cpanel but I get an error due to the WikkaWiki software. Could I essentially just remove all the content from that specifc page and just add a link saying it moved to the new wordpress site? How would I 301 that link it so that the search engines know it moved?
