"Google is developing a system that analyses search engine queries to spot topics of high interest which are not readily available from publishers. "

However DEMAND Media which basically does exactly that is expected to be valued at $1.5 Billion. Who says scaling does not work

Is that not similar to what we have been doing for years?

It is interesting to see that the Demand Media guy employs 8000 writers. I know many people in this forum are reluctant to even higher 1 virtual assistant because of "quality" concerns.

The article is a reminder that if you want to ever make it big, you must also think big too.

Struggling to make a full time income by writing 50 articles everyday by yourself is pure madness in my opinion, but yet you here all of these experienced people recommending that approach even for those who can afford to hire an employee.

DEMAND Media owns the likes of ehow.

Google really needs to do something about such sites that really provide minimal of information to the user.

ehow are on par with some Internet Marketers that produce low grade Adsense sites. The only positive thing is, it visually looks reasonable.

    8000 writers? Holy crap.

I want anything written well, I write it myself.

Isn't that a little short sighted? You can't possibly think that you are the only writer that can write decent content, can you. I look at that second line in your post, and it seems like you should have the word "if" at the beginning. But maybe that is just me.
