Need help on how to monetize domain

Im thinking about buying some domains that are city+jobtitle.com (newyorkautomechanic.com or detroitpediatrician.com).

Does anyone have any good ideas for how to monetize these or a script to create a site like this: http://www.newyorkmassagetherapist.com/

    A lot of these types of domains are for lead generation and you can do this 2 ways. You can call up local message therapists or whatever your job title is and ask them if they are interested in buying ad space on your site for $xx.xx a month or whatever you feel you are worth.
    The other way you can do it is you can contact local businesses and tell them you have a website related to their business and that you would be willing to make your site about their business for $xxx.xx a month. Such as messagetherapists.com would really be only about toms message parlor.
    Of course you would need to have a site of value such as being rank #1 for new york message parlors on google and such in order to actually get people to jump on board.

    Write some articles about the businesses in the geographical area, and call up the locals to see if they would like a feature written specifically about them. Works sometimes, and you may even be able to negotiate an on-going thing with them where you write a few articles featuring them on a monthly basis.
