Could Reviewazon have affected my rankings?

Just a quick question, but not really a biggie.

I have had a website ranking #3 on google for its keyword for quite a long time now, over 4 months. I decided to install Reviewazon since it's a physical product niche. Out of nowhere my rankings dropped dramatically within 1 week of installing the Plugin. I was still indexed but nowhere to be found on the top 100. I left it at this for about 2 weeks. I then decided to remove the plugin and all the post that were created from the plugin, my rankings have come back to normal and am at #3 again.

Could it have been the Reviewazon plugin? Anyone experience this? If it is the plugin then so much for autobloggers. Since I had unique content on the sight i didn't think the ranks would be affected.

    Google just acts crazy at times as well. But it is possible for some websites to pull your ranking down a little.

        Wordpress comes with a robots.txt file that allows google to crawl you entire website even your plug-ins folder, all you need to do is add a few rules to your robots.txt file so that the spiders do not look into you plug-ins folder i personally add this to my robots.txt file

        Sitemap: /sitemap.xml
        User-agent: *
        Disallow: /wp-content/cache/
        Disallow: /wp-content/themes/
        Disallow: /wp-content/plugins/
        Disallow: /wp-admin/
        Disallow: /wp-includes/
        Disallow: /wp-login.php

        You can modify this as you wish that way they will not have a clue what plug-in you are using.
