my site results in google

Im posting this with hopes to get a answer to this question...
I have a site on line and its only a week and a half old so i was shocked when I did a google search and it came up in the second spot on the first page of google... I was so excited that I went to my friends house and was going to show him how good I was ranking and when I typed in the same words to find my site the number of results was way differnt and my site was way back on the fourth page now im back home and looked it up again and im back on the first page second spot what is the deal with that?

    If you are logged in to your Google account, then it will customize the search results based on where you've been (I think that's how it does it) So since you visit your site it will show near the top. Try logging out of your google account, or open a different browser where you're not logged in and use that to check out your rankings.
