Does EzineArticles Not Always Check Links?

I just had an article be accepted that had a link in the resource box that didn't work. Usually they let me know it is broken and don't make the article live. Does this mean they didn't check up resource box links? If so I find that a little bizarre...maybe someone isn't doing their job properly.

Anyone else experienced this?

    No, I did get notifications from them about dead links from one of my articles. Probably they run this notification service after certain time.

      maybe someone isn't doing their job properly.
      I think they do check links - but perhaps not all the time. I check my own links before submission as it's MY responsibility to have the links right.

      Always assumed EZA's purpose is to make sure the links are to acceptable sites.

        They have a script which runs periodically and checks all the links. They should do it automatically for new articles too so I'm not sure about your case.

    Sounds like human error to me, someone just didn't check. I've had a few other cases of clear human error on submitted articles over the past couple of months, given their new (improved, much improved) way to edit articles I wouldn't be too worried about it.
