Hi guys!

I have trouble with one of my big site. Google has indexed 38400 pages but now they stoped.

The site sells components and has about 1 000 000 differents products, each product has its own page. How do i get Google to continue indexing my pages?

Regards,
Raekwon

I would suggest you to do some inner linking, create rss feeds, social bookmark them and post in rss feed directories.

interlace you inner pages together w/ links. That should help you.

Just leave it for a while they'll get indexed eventually. Though I'd concentrate on building some white hat backlinks if you haven't got many. Something like directories and asking for links with related sites in your industry. Apart from that just leave it.

How long has it been? Maybe they didn't 'stop' but instead it's just not been enough time?

One way you could try and encourage them to emphasise different parts of your site is to rotate some deep internal links onto the front page of your site. That will also give your visitors something fresh to see.

      @Raekwon

More links as @dburk suggested is always good. Also the Matt Cutt's suggestion to make more of your pages closer to the home page is smart.

Here's what I would give a try as well:

Try setting up multiple HTML sitemaps that only have about 25 - 50 thematically relevant links each.

You could start by linking to these from your existing HTML sitemap (if you have one).

So on your existing sitemap page:

      www.yoursite.com/sitemap.html

Create links to new product thematically matching sitemaps.

      - Television Sitemap
      - Radio Sitemap
      - Flat Screen TV Sitemap

Now you can use these new sitemaps to link to important product pages that are not currently being crawled. Also, you won't need to mess around with your site that much by doing this.

Hope that helps. You should provide your website URL.
