I think yes but only if your website is very popular and known.
But you can try to build backlinks to it to get it indexed quickly.

No, I'm not drunk, and I'm not making that up. Near instant indexing.

I have always had my new blogs indexed in a day or so using indexing tools and pinging them, but I've heard the "sandbox" rumors, it has never affected me though! I have also had success searching for my keyword in google and list the results after latest added and them commented on recent blog posts! Good luck!

I do the following to index my posts.

      1.Ping the post using pingomatic
2 Submit the post to Digg
3 Submit the post to stumbleupon

This not only gets the post indexed but also normally gets some traffic to the post.

I have some autoblogs that are older domains...Just trash stuff on them. Their posts get indexed anywhere form 1min to 10min though. So when I make a post to a brand new site we have I can have it indexed in 12 hours or less. Not to mention we have so many freebie web 2.0 networks it is ridiculous.

As far as the sandbox that was mentioned above... if anyone knew how many sites Jeremy and I have created brand new...got them indexed and built 2k-10k links to them in one day and pinged them all and never been sandboxed... I doubt the sandbox would be as scary of a thing as most product sellers try to make it out to be.

Can it happen? Probably...but in my opinion the sandbox has more to do with what is on those pages than mass linking. I think we have taken a hit before on some of the mass backlinking but that all goes away in a couple months. Especially with a few strong links built by hand.
