Yep whole site is about 2+years old by now. Main domain name is no1 in Big G. But I made the mistake of picking a low traffic keyword for my main domain name. I now realise there is more traffic in other keywords. And the other keyword is the one that is way at the back of google..

Maybe its just a google dance as I have been tinkering with some SEO like articles, b links and on page seo etc...

Being no.1 in yahoo doesn't guarantee you a no.1 spot in google. Their algo's work differently from each other. You'll see that it's pretty normal to rank in yahoo, yet not in google as i've got lots of sites ranked like that. And vice versa as well. It's rocket science

Because a site is not listed in google does not mean it's de-indexed.
It may not have been indexed at all. Google can be funny like that.

Yahoo does not equate to google no matter how many people think
they do the same thing. They don't don't. The big, authoritative
sites maybe, but even those get mixed around on each from time
      to time.

I have a site that is loved by yahoo, but took forever to be
indexed on google. I'm talking over a year.

I can't for the life of me figure out why and have stopped trying.
And stopped worrying about it. There are just some sites that google
will not give a second look at. I have given up on trying to figure
google out, in each case, and have concentrated on traffic and
getting real visitors to appreciate my sites. Overall, this had a
great effect on google. But I always use the 20% rule. Something
I made up myself. I can get google about 80% of the time. The
other 20%, I just shrug my shoulders and move along. You can't
put google in a box 100% of the time. I also think people use the
other 20% to show strange things and mix themselves up. That
20% can drive a person batty. Relax. Just keep on with the good
stuff and realize you can't win them all.

So what? These search engines rank search results differently. Why would this be unexpected? The reverse - all the search engines doing the same thing to rank every web page - would be a tremendous surprise for all practical purposes.

Check to see if you have been black-listed by Google? Have you monitored your analytics to see your traffic volumes?
