Does Google do a human check on your site once you reach the $100 mark?

I was wondering if Google will ban your site if you have a one page site that you created to earn $100 on your Adsense account?

I was teaching someone the ropes of SEO and they created a one page site MFA...it is a one page site and they are up to $45 with the one site they have linked to their Adsense account.

I was reading in another forum that once you hit the $100 mark Google will do a human review on the site. Was also reading that if the site is a one page site that Google will ban the Adsense account and not pay out the money.

I never thought about that before because my first site had around 30 pages on it so I never ran into that problem on my first $100.

I've never heard this before, but if you're worried about it I'd just add some more pages to the site

Maybe $100/day. Not your first $100.

I made my first 100 with 5 or 6 1 page sites. I still have my account and it's going strong. No more 1 page sites in my arsenal, but you don't have anything to worry about.

      Hi simpleonline1234,

Yes, your entire AdSense account undergoes a thorough review before your first payout is processed. For many folks, this is when they get banned for life from AdSense due to fraud or other egregious violations.

While a one page website could be in compliance with the terms of service, it would need to have an "About Us", Privacy Policy, Contact information and links to other content (presumably other websites) on that single page. It would probably be better to create those as separate pages.

There are indications that they'll do some sort of inspection of your sites when you hit the $100 a day mark but this doesn't seem to be an absolute rule. They probably have other criteria along with that one that puts you on the visual inspection list such as number of domains, ad/traffic conversion ratios, number of pages per domain, etc.

Basically, if traffic from your sites is converting well for advertisers and they don't look like typical MFA crap sites it isn't likely that you'll have a problem.

Agreed - the best thing to consider is the bottom line: Adsense's "job" is to create successful leads for their advertisers. The advertisers are the ones providing the $ and therefore they call the tune. If the traffic you send them doesn't convert; they don't want you, and therefore neither does Adsense. On the other hand, if you have a good site which actually provides some useful info, you are less likely to get labeled as "MFA".

I think it is quite reasonable to assume that Google will do a manual check before the first payment is released. It is probably standard practice for affiliate and CPA networks and other companies as well. But there is no reason to suspect that they purposefully set out to ban your account and confiscate your money.

I don’t think reaching $100 is what triggers the manual check, I’ve often read about cases when accounts were disabled long after they’ve crossed $ 100 mark and some who were disabled before they even reached $ 10 …

google approved your adsense account after a review of your website , so no chance of suspension until you had caught with fraud click ......if you have a account you were using with some other websites as well then no problem with a one page website or two page website

There are a lot of people who say they do that but I don't think so.

Checking every website manually that reaches the $100 mark is a
    whole lot of work.

They will *probably* check sites with one page... very easy for them to put those sites in a special box to be human checked.

But why in the world would someone do a 1 page website...? Some people just don't get it, do they?

    :p

This is new to me, but I guess it is possible. Where did you hear about this process?

It is unlikely they have the man power to check all the sites that reach that amount.

I would agree with some of the above posters that if you are concerned about it simply add more pages to the website. Unless you have a crazy CTR or there is evidence of invalid clicks you should not be getting a human review until you start making $75+ a day with Adsense.

Even then you should only get banned if you do something that is against the TOS...
