I have a few questions on SEO

I have a blog on getting free food and I have my chosen keywords in my header and blogspot domain name.I was wondering If I want to rank on the first page on google for the key words Im trying to rank for should evry time I write articles and do posts should I use the same key words or should I use simliar low comp key words?any tips would help

    No use different keywords each time. Also not every post has to be keyword targeted ... as long as it is on the right topic.

    If you need more keywords, use the Google External Tool in combination with some basic research on competition for your keywords.

    If I take another persons article and put it on my blog will I get penlized for that?If not can you tell me how to put there article on the blog without getting penlized by google.

      You don't get penalized but you will not rank in the search engines for the particular keywords
      that are in the article.

      For a better user experience Google says that it will only return one of the same article for the term that is being searched for in the search results. That will be the one that in Googles eyes meets all the criteria they use in their algorithms.
