Newest Keyword Research Information - What tool?

I've stumbled upon a niche that looks like it will be very hot soon, as the Keyword Discovery tool as well as Google Suggest show that there's lots of searches for this niche, with virtually no competition. In Keyword Discovery, I get about 8 keyword phrases related to this niche with a decent amount of searches per day, however, when I research these phrases in any other tool, Market Samurai, Adwords, SEObook etc, I get absolutely nothing, no searches at all for any of the phrases.

So, does Keyword Discovery just have the freshest database of keyword phrases or are they just wrong? Anyone have an idea?

    All the keyword data regarding Google search volumes comes either from Google or from error. And the data that comes from Google is also unreliable. Proceed at your own risk.

    Sorry if this sounds discouraging, but the idea that you can reliably discover "keyword niches" by using keyword tools is just BS, although it is pushed by lots of "gurus" who sell their courses and unique insights. For example, most of the high search volumes reported by the Google AdWords tools are generated by people and SEOs checking their and their clients' search rankings. A lot if not most of those searches never translate into any clicks.
