Car Insurance Affiliate Site-Need Help

Aside from article marketing and link building, what are the steps required to have a successful auto insurance website?

By successful I mean around 200 visitors a day or 6000 a month.

I know this is a competitive industry. I see a few sites out there that have very little content and few links getting 5000-6000 visitors per month.

Are they paying for the traffic? Do they rank for a few important keywords?

Am I missing something?!?!?

Thanks for the help...

    Hey BBGuy,

I was wondering how your current auto insurance solution was doing for you. We're an auto insurance advertiser with our own platform and offer. You might have seen our offer out there (AutoInsuranceTips.com/AutoQuote). I'd love to set you up with a custom form to test with us. Please contact me if you're interested.

@dakki - not sure it's as simple as that when it comes to the competitive field of insurance. Or, if one does "paying affiliates" then you're going to fork out a lot of dough!

If you look at a site like TrvRog's, you'll see that it helps to have a TON of content, focusing articles on niche keyword drilling down to state, city, zip, etc. would probably help you get the trickle of visitors per niche keyword/phrase.

Insurance and finance are very lucrative but they aren't the easiest niches to get into unless you have a decent amount of startup capital, lots of content, advertising budget, etc. I'm talking about making a very good living in the insurance niche.

Writing a bunch of articles and submitting to Ezine could probably get you 100+ visitors a day and using something like SureHits.com, or any affiliate company I suppose, could net you a decent amount per month.

Depends on how much you want to earn, how much you want to spend etc. Gotta think longterm in the insurance niche...in my opinion anyway
