A newbie here. I've been working pretty hard to learn as much as I can about SEO over the past couple months, and this site has been an absolute god-send in this regard.

I'm wondering what you all use to submit your articles.

I've looked through some article submission services across the net and haven't seen anything that really impressed me. Most of them either charged or asked for links to random websites pitching viagra, etc on my sites.

Am I even better off just submitting them manually?

I have used Article Marketer services and these have worked really well for me. I was able to get over 400 one way backlinks in very short period of time. Isnare is also quite good.

There is also noting wrong with manual submission as this way you can fully develop your profiles in each article directory and you have total control over your accounts.

I have worked on many types of projects related to article submission. I found that manual article submission is worthy. I also agree that this gives a full control over accounts.

You can do a search on goggle for "article submission" and will be lots of list to send artcles.

My question is should I sign up for these places myself to submit articles OR outsource it so I dont send dup articles?

The main advantage of manual submission is to increase the page rank in a short span of time which can't be achieved with automated submissions.

I write quality articles rich with keywords derived from Google's tools pertaining to the topic of my web site. The Google AdWords Keyword Tool, Google Insights for Search, and Google Trends are all very useful for these and many more purposes.

I submit said articles to the list of dofollow article submission sites listed here at dofollow.info

    Hope this helps!

Don't go with automatic article submission, do it manually, that way you will know where your articles are. most of the submission sites will lest your articles in God forbidden directories and you might even get penalized by Google for that. it's best to do it manually cause you will be able to track all of your submissions. What is the problem with creating accounts and submitting articles, it doesn't take that much time and it is important.

        Use ezinearticles.com
        goarticles.com
        buzzle.com
        articleslash.com
        articledirectory.com
        upublish.com
        sooperarticles.com for do follow backlinks

but I suggest adding a few no dollow directories as well, the best place to start is articlebase.com

also use sites like HubPages, Gather and Squidoo, they aregreat way to drive traffic and create backlinks.

        Hope this helps

I always use manual submission. Each submission site has it's own rules. It's difficult to even write a single article that meets the rules of many submission sites unless they are crappy submission sites w/ few if any submission standards. Besides I never submit the same article to multiple submission sites anyway.

I write a great post for my blog... typically a very detailed post.... maybe 1500-2500 words. Then I write an article to submit totally from scratch without looking at my original post. The article will typically be 500-1000 words... much less detail about the topic but using the same general outline. Then I submit this to ONE submission site (generally EzineArticles.com).

If I want to submit to another submission site, I'll write a 2nd article about the same topic totally from scratch without looking at the previous post or article. Again it will be much less detailed than the original post. I'll submit it typically to GoArticles.com.

And so on for as many submission sites as I want to post to.
