Adwords Landing Page Rules

Anyone know the exact rules with a landing page for adwords.
In the past I know I've linked straight to my affiliate site without any problems, but other times the landing page quality has been poor.
Also I've linked to a blog first but have been done for poor landing page quality that way too.

If you're promoting a product, what exactly do you have to have on your landing page to keep google happy? I guess I could do a review on the product, but I've found often the bounce rate is high, because the customer that has just clicked on the ad doesn't want to read a long review..they want to see the product

Google can detect affiliate sites because of the amount of affiliates promoting that same website. These sites are known just for making sales and not solely for unique and fresh content.

Promoting affiliate websites using adwords can increase the chances of that website to get bombed by google thus decreasing the quality score and increasing ad cost. So check the history of that affiliate website.

Design your own landing page with unique and fresh content relating to the affiliate site your promoting.

Target a mixture of keywords and keyword phrases within your adgroup and landing page. Make sure your adword ads can capture interest. The more CTR you recieve the more quality score and the decrease on ad cost.
