Hi members,

I have three questions relating to article keywords. I have a Wordpress site and always try to post articles on a regular basis as we all do but I don't stuff the front page with the whole article and put paragraph breaks in so that the viewer only see's the first paragraph or two with a 'read more' link which again is common stuff.

My Questions are:-

1) Does Google see the whole article in terms of keywords or just the visible part of the article.

2) Do old articles on say page 10 just clutter up the site or do they still get indexed even though they are no longer visible.

3) If your recent posts use long tail keywords to mix it up a bit does that mean that the value of artcles with your primary keywords diminish in value when they move down the page order.

thanks,

Mal.

Use the article keywords in the last Paragraphs of the body if using keywords in content, if you are not, then use them as anchor in author bio...

    1) the whole
    2) more content is better. it does not clutter. if it is all on topic it ADDS to your site. increases relevancy longevity, and many many other factors.
    3) No, just because your articles move down has no decreasing density to your other blogs. remember, the homepage of your blog is simply a blog ROLL meaning shows the most recent ones at the top, older ones at the bottom. if you click an individual post or article you will find that it comes up as its own page. thats because it is just that, its own page, you can only change those densities by changing that post/article.
