I've helped a few clients with this. It isn't always easy depending on the level of authority of the site you are trying push down. Here are a couple of tips.
    1. Buy a couple of domain name with the exact keywords and put unique content on each
    2. Buy yourself a press release, and then link to some of the sites that publish the release.
    3. Get an article on a couple of independent blogs and get links to those as well

We were able to push something that was a pagerank 3 out of the top 10 this way, but it took us a couple of months and a few hundred dollars.

In our case it was a iphone software maker that had a problem with a venture capital deal, and they were trying to push down that article that had been published as a press release (but just one pr3 site in the top 10).

To do that, you're talking about stuffing the page full of these new pages you create, that forces it off the page?

That sounds like a lot of work! But even if there are other higher sites in the way, thta shouldn't matter as long as you outrank the "bad" page?

Sorry I'm sounding like a newbie...I am one

Oh, yea. There are corporations that pay big money to force things off the page. In the example I gave, these guys were going close to getting a $100 million in venture capital, and needed the failed venture capital article removed ASAP, so a few thousand to make it happen was chump change.

Technically if you had a few million bucks to blow, sure you could theoretically create a link wheel so big and strong it would be like another internet. I guess if you stood to lose way more money if you didn't do it, you'd be more motivated to.

Hi dvduval, your suggestion is really good but my client is not giving me permission for making websites on his name.

I want to remove one bad review which is showing on first position in search engine. My client name is the keyword.

For this task i had done around 200 bad linking like putting links with porn site links in spam blogs, add link with bad content articles and add links on bad forums but still it is on first position.

I am totally confused now, is it my work will remove the listing or not?

Can you suggest me anything else OR any suggestion regarding my work, which help me to do reveres SEO.
Is it bad linkbuilding works for reverse SEO?

You just need to find any other properties to rank. You do not even have to create new sites most of the time. Push a YouTube video, Facebook page, Twitter profile, Yelp review, a positive article on another site, or anything else you can find that is relevant up to page one and knock offending page off.

    Hang on!!!

I have a suggestion here. It is something I use all the time with clients. I ask them to give me a bad review they've had.

    and that isn't a typo.

I mean it. A bad review. Why do I want this? Because fessing up to something that went wrong demonstrates that you are honest. It might p**ss off a few customers - not many and certainly not your best customers. Now you do need to tell people what you did, how you got around the problem and sorted it to your client's satisfaction. The fact remains it is a bad review.

My point is that no charlatan ever does this. They were itinerant for a good reason. They needed to be. By the time folk discovered that the hair polish was really motor oil, said charlatan was across the stateline counting his profits. That is to say, no comebacks.

So be clear about your returns policies, state that the person got their money back or whatever. Believe me, it will convince a few people out there that buying from you means they're safe.

Isn't that worth a few onlookers turning away in boredom? Because your sales will spike. Guaranteed.

I'm going to agree with this one, if you really think your business highly you would need to OWN IT. Stand up for any bad review, and try to fix/patch things up. Offer a gift or something, or whatever, but your must need to own it. Post something on your site with the same title and explain there what happened and how you are handling it.

If you did a good job, chances are, people will trust you more.

  • Go on fiverr and spend about 100 dollars on backlinks to that article. Should disappear quickly.

That isn't guaranteed. You might screw yourself and strengthen their rankings.

Trying to drop the site is a bad idea versus outranking it with other properties and just pushing it off of page one.

I would do the same. There are still some xrumer providers out there (20k+ links) and this will help. Have done some testing and was able to generate results pretty quickly.

So yeah, a massive SB or XRumer blast would do the job.

    Keep ranking your site
    Emd's
    press release
    Youtube videos
Link back to them from spammy sources (Fiverr has loads of these and you can get a 5k-10k links with like 20 dollars)
Usually the bad review pages are not strong but better check it.

Youtube videos are your friend ... easy ranking technique: spam the crap out of some youtube videos to rank first (Google won't penalize there own service)

    Happy blasting

In this case, using link building based negative SEO would be a mistake.

There's more than one way to skin a cat though. If you have the page's html, that's all you need.
