How much are you paying for adwords KWs?

I'm doing some PPC for a client that is local. My landing page is relevant to my ad - and I've got him on the first page for every KW in each campaign.

However, I'm a little concern that I'm pay a little to much when it comes to CPC. I'm averaging about a buck per click.

I know it varies - but how much on average do you spend on your CPC?

I always hear that ppl are only paying about 30 cents per click. Again - I know that it varies a lot.

    Being on first page means nothing in ppc, anybody can get first page or number one spot, the question is am i making money at the price i am paying, as to your price / max ppc it will depend on many variables,such as, what is the product value, what is your conversion rate.
