[Help] Referring domain url tracking for campaigns

Im trying to find out how websites use googles url builder to relay referring sites domain in the utm source.
For exmaple:
http://www.gifts.com/ssp?slkw=mahjon...ite=mysite.com
this is the tracking source they have on their adwords
So whenever someone clicks the link from mysite.com that advertiser can see in their google analytics what domain the click was generated from.
Do anyone know what the code is that generates the domain name url so you can track it like that?
