Google saying a US-based company is Afghanistan-based?!

Hi all,
I recently was browsing another website, and came across a thread made by a host called Host Color

They're pretty concerned since today, the SERPs changed (seems to be google.com and google.co.uk at the very least) for his company such that when you search for "Host Color" it says that they are based in Afghanistan in the results:

Code:
www.hostcolor.com - Afghanistan - Cached - Similar
A few people have checked and it seems to be happening in at least google.com and google.co.uk

I was just wondering whether anyone has seen or heard of this happening before? The owner is pretty confused to say the least, especially since their entire operataion is based in America (he's also scanned the website's code and found no mention of Afghanistan)

Sorry for the random thread although it's pretty odd and I've never seen this happen before?

Thanks,
Tristan

I don't think the company is US based. Im trying to remember what makes me say that.

Perhaps because they have a UK phone number. Not many reasons for a US based company to have a UK phone number.

In any event if you do a search on 'hostcolor Afghanistan' you get plenty of matches so it's possible that triggered something.

They could be on the moon and buy services from US based internet providers but you really can't call yourself US based, you'd be moon based

In any event it's cheap PR for the company.

It's not my website (and I haven't received a PM from you?) I was just curious since I hadn't seen this happen before. Thanks for the tip about Google Webmaster Tools, I hadn't realised that could cause this
