Hi, im confused. I just want to know why weaker site is on better position than stronger one. Niche is wedding speech and the keyword is groom wedding speech. The top site in google is groomweddingspeech.org (george page) and second mygroomweddingspeech.com. The first one according to Market Samurai has PR 1, Backlinks to page 24, Backlinks to domain 29 and is full optimized on page - keyword in title, url, desc, head. Site has something like 10-15 links with "groom wedding speach" anchor text.
The second page has PR 2, Backlinks to page 366, Backlinks to domain 378 and is also full optimized on page. Site has something over 100 links with "groom wedding speach" anchor text.
So why the stronger site is 2nd ? I hope some1 can explain me.

The first site has an exact match domain, meaning it matches the keyword phrase exactly. Google shows a ranking preference to exact match domains.

Not much difference between the domains though, I would imagine if the second site were to use Market Samuari to grab competitors back links (sorted by PR), then he could obtain them and be in first. Given the domain age was similar, keywords on on-page factors, and indexed pages were all the same.

This would be an interesting one to watch it play out.

it could be ranked higher for different key words and the backlinks for the "weaker" site might be more "quality" back links. plus backlinks is not the only thing that determines ur ranking. there is a lot of other things that we just dont know about and the only way to find out is to keep experimenting.

"weaker" site has low quality backlinks.. just check them. So exact match domain is so important ?
