 I havent done any backlinking for a while, till less than 2 weeks ago. I am already seeing good results...

Is this just a coincidence or does it take less time for backlink juice to start working than it used to?

Google recently did some pretty big updates to their algorithms. I've noticed the same thing. This is normal and a positive thing. =) Take advantage of it, but don't become too overzealous.

Google Newest Update is indexing faster, but it can also determine the true value of links faster... So keep that in mind as the Google Dance just went from a waltz to a salsa....

...The other day I made a post on another marketing forum, I started a new thread, then after about 10 minutes, I decided to leave the forum for the time being, and instead, search up more advice on the question on google, so i keyed in something similar to what i had put as my new thread's title.

What was the first result? My new topic on that forum. It was less than 10 minutes old.

It should be no surprise Google's main goal was to speed up indexing of pages. It's trying to keep up with real time events like the speed that it happens on twitter.
