hi,

I have two sites which are both in the first two pages of google and yahoo for two different keywords.

But Bing will not index them. They are not present in the bing search engines.

Sites are about 1 month old each, any ideas?

Bing has completely different caching infrastructure from Google. It is slow not only for new sites, but also for updates of old websites. So do not worry, it will come to Bing. 1 month is not a timeframe for Bing.

Yes, I strongly agree with you because every search engine has different caching system. So, don't worry about it. It will be indexing ASAP.

Do you have a bing webmaster tools account? Does your site have an rss feed or sitemap?

If you answered "no" to either question, I suggest you fix that problem.

Once you have a BING webmaster tools account, you can submit your sitemap and get some insight to what is going on with your page.

Also, bing is really slow at indexing a site. On my main forum google has indexed something like 112,000 pages. Bing has only indexed something like 100 pages. That is around a 100,000 page difference.

I find Bing quite slow when it comes to indexing new websites... Anyway, I guess this should help:

    bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx

(Sorry, can't post proper links yet... :p)

Stop wasting your time with bing, it's a piece of crap and won't send you traffic anyway

Here's how to rank on Google:

Make a useful site with on page SEO, then build more/better links than your competitors, then you will go to number 1

Here's how to rank on Bing:

Cross your fingers and hope they put you the top

Bing is a piece of crap, it doesn't index information properly
