Multple mirco sites

We sell window coverings in a area with 15 different cities. I have never got a clear answer on this question. We would like to build mircro sites with city key word loaded URL's. Each site would have a videos on front page addressing the people in the city that is on the url. Will this work?

    It depends what your goal is? If all you want is websites with videos on... then I guess you will succeed! Who are you trying to reach? What do you want from the users who visit?

      The video on your homepage is good idea but this is all part of the content and it helps to give good user experience. It's the easier part if I may say so. But more importantly you have to do your keyword research first. Get a feel of the kind of competition you are going to have and will you be able to outrank them and how soon.

    How far apart are the cities, is it like a Chicago, Minneapolis, New York City or are all the cities relatively close in proximity?
