I never add it right away. I usually wait until I get rankings or better yet until I get top 3 rankings.

I do it this way because people are not willing to link to an adsense site as much as they would to a simple informational site. A site that is maintained by a person with interest in the market because it represents a hobby, a passion.

They smell that you're just about the money and you can lose a lot of links as a result. It's kinda hard to imagine something like this. Having a site with traffic and not monetizing it.

Think of the long term though. This strategy will pay handsome dividends in the long run.

I've always put my adds up on my sites once the content has been optimized for the keyword I'm going for on each page......even though you probaly won't be getting any organic clicks right aways you can still get direct and referrals clicks so I say go for it.

I've heard a rumor floating around a while back called having your account "smart priced" if you were not getting organic traffic but I never really looked into it much further.

This will be on my list of things to search up on now.....

If you have just launched it, I'm assuming that it has content. If so, then there's no harm in adding AdSense on it. I always add it straight-away and it has never been detrimental to me. I even used to add it to blank WordPress installations but I'd never advise anyone that since I always eventually build that site up VERY quickly.

I heard that if you put adsense on your site that will not rank easily in search engines , So it is better to add after getting a position.

I created 2x WP sites on Monday for the purpose of high SERP with one or two pages of content and Adsense. So ofcourse I added 2 blocks of ads to the pages immediately.

These were brand new domains just purchased Sunday night. As of today one is appearing at #21 on Google for the main keyword phrase I targeted.

...and I really haven't done proper IM strategies with it yet.

1x PR3 backlink from another site of mine.
2x Links Plexo backlinks from Squidoo.
1x WF signature link with no anchor text.

        ...and that's it.

Doesn't seem to make a difference to SERPs by adding adsense right away.

I have been building AdSense sponsored sites since 2004, with AdSense ads active from the moment of first publication. My first site (RoHSwell.com) became recognized as an authority site by the electronics industry within a few months and collected hundreds of unsolicited back links from other sites, including some powerhouses like TI and BuyUSA.gov.

What really matters is excellent content that delivers true value to visitors. Do that and you will see higher Page Rank, better search positions, higher traffic and more AdSense revenue.

I always build links and traffic to my site first before adding Adsense. After all, it will not do any good because without traffic, you will hardly get some ad clicks. Of course, this is with the assumption that you have your content in place. Always build your reader base before adding some ads. Usually, a month's worth of content is enough but it is still up to you.

You can put it anytime. However, you better to concentrate on your content. There is no point of having adsense if you don't have enough traffic to make any money ^^

    Good luck, mate..
