The first and the most important step in SEO is to do the key word research. Take time to figure out what words are used by the people you want to visit your site, and use these words on the suitable page.

Also ask other SEO's for opinions..and do you're own research..theres a lot of sites that can help you improve..You can also learn a lot by reading.

Harish, Welcome to the forum, First try to findout SEO Tutorials for beginners on net. Google it and get some ideas, Once that is done, participate in warrior forum as well as some other popular forums such as DP and etc where guys are discussing about SEO. That will help you to get more skills on SEO. Best of Luck.

I think to start with seo you need to read a lot on seo...Like articles and blogs related to seo..You can read the semoz beginners guide it will really help you to understand the basics of seo....

  Agreed. Learn to read more on SEO. Coz SEO is not always the same. SEO can differ from time to time when algorithm changes. I would suggest you do a search on SEO video tutorials or guide. Go through them first and be active in SEO forums. That should help you.
