Seo question: linking from A to B

I read somewhere that Google only follows one link per page to a website, meaning that if on one page 5 links point to the same website only the first one gets followed and passes linkjuice.

Is this true? If yes, I have another question.

Pagerank is calculated per page, not per domain. Let's say I have two websites: website A and B.
If I put two links on website A, page 1 and point one of the links to website B, page 1 and the other to website B, page 2. Do both links pass on linkjuice or only the first one because they point to the same domain?

The reason I ask is because on some forums I'm active in I have two links in my signature pointing to different pages on the same domain. I would just like to know if they both are of equal value.

This is completely false. You can have five backlinks from one website point to B, however the value of each backlink wont be as strong as if you had only one backlink from that 1 "A" website. Google does read multiple backlinks from Point A to B and will pass PR as long as its do-follow. Hope this helps.

I have not had the opportunity to test this yet, So what you are saying is that 1 link will suffice instead of 2 or 3 with all in anchor variables linking back? What about nofollows? I see that some and in my thoughts they carry no link weight. Is that so, I am sure the # counts, just zero link juice???

I believe they have said that they don't follow more then 100 links on a page and some SEOers think that is even false.

I've always been under the impression that every outbound link counts. On a page where there are 10 outbound links and you have 3 of those pointing to your site then you're claiming 30% of the total outgoing linkjuice.

It makes sense to me, but I'm always happy to be proven wrong - any takers?

Yes, to some extent that is true. If the page only had outbound links in the body it would all be equal, and for sake of simplicity this is the way I usually explain it. BUT, we know Google has talked about links in certain areas of the site having more clout than say.. footer links. I have not personally tested that, but I would prefer a link in the first paragraph over a footer link any day.

The difficulty is determining authoritative sites from non-authoritative.
I have always felt that no matter how many links, authoritative sites
give a little more juice than non-authoritative sites. All things being
equal, that is. Case in point, WF. WF is not exactly burning up the internet
with PR. But it is an authoritative site to be sure, at least with google.
A sig link here goes a long way. I'd take a sig link here, where there are
thousands of links, any day over a PR6 site of much less authority.
Notice I did not say the WF puts more PR. Just a little more oomph,
for lack of a better word. WF gets crawled every millisecond. That's
some pretty good authority. I'd even go as far to say, maybe, that a little
PR from WF is better than another PR5 site. I say this based on experience that
it is high authority sites that seem to do light years better for my PR than
        others.

I thought high PR sites were authority sites. How can you tell if a site is an authority site?

No, it's not true that if 5 Links pointed on a page and all are on same domain than Google will count 5 links but your keyword or Phrase should be different.

    Hi
Answer for you 1st question :- As you told that if we have 5 links on one page and only 1st link will going to get juice then its wrong...all 5 link with different urls will get equal link juice

Answer for you 2nd question:- Let suppose we have site A and we have two link there for site B with different keyword or same keyword. then only 1st link will get link juice and google crawler will ignore other link with same keyword

but if you have two link ( one of homepage and other any deeplink ) of site B on Site A then both link will get full juice but only if we have different pages link of B

let me know still having any confusion
