SEO Keyword Competition Results from SENuke (need advice)

All my traffic has been a result of my PPC advertising and I just did a search for the main keywords I've been targetting to see the level of competition for ranking high organically before I invest all the time/energy and SENuke spit out the following...

Don't waste your time sounds pretty harsh.

If this was your niche, would you still try to rank for it or would you not even bother?

Also, what's the likelihood/possibility of ranking #1, top 3, or top 5 with that kind of competition? and how long do you think it would take?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

    What is your keyword? Just because a few youtube videos and articles are ranking in the top 10 doesn't mean you should not attempt to enter that niche.

    Don't Waste Your Time
    This is one thing I don't pay any attention too in SEnuke. If your keyword has a good amount of searches then just analyse the top 10 and look at ranking factors such as:

    Domain age
    Domain and page PR
    Number of inbound links
    On-page optimization such as the Meta title and description
    Take a closer look at their back links, do they have a high percentage of high PR back links?
    Are they listed in the main directories

    Once you have analysed all this information you can then get a pretty good idea of how strong that first page of results is and whether you should target that keyword.

      Right on! SEnuke, I've found, is pretty crummy at this "predictive" stuff. Better to leave that to Market Samurai or Micro Niche Finder. Or even better - experience!

    I don't know how SEnuke decide if you should or shouldn't waste your time.

    If the decision is made based on some YouTube videos and Ezine articles than I strongly recommend you start doing your competition analysis with a different tool.

    Market Samurai is great for this purpose.
