Question About Backlinks

Hi everyone,

Lets say you are optimizing your site with 2 keywords: keyword 1 optimizes the page www.domain.com/keyword1 and keyword 2 optimizes for the page www.domain.com/keyword2.

Now my doubt, about backlink power:

1- ex: i put both keywords on a page with PR 4
2- ex: i put keyword 1 on a page PR4 and keyword 2 on other a page PR4 (different domains and different c class)

Now the question is, will the example 2 bring more power to my site because the keywords are in completely different sites? Or since both keywords lead to different pages, that does not matter?

    Both would be helpful, but I think the answer depends on the keywords. If they are completely different I think putting the links on different sites would be helpful (as long as the sites are related to your niche). If they are similar I don't think it would matter as much. That's just my opinion.

    The best way to build backlinks is from different ip addresses.. You should only be building backlinks from different ip's to get rank high in Search engines.

    I have some questions relating to backlinking strategy too. Hope i can borrow your thread.

    Lets say my site have 3 keywords,
    a.com/1
    a.com/2
    a.com/3

    When i do backlinking strategies, do i link back to a.com or to a.com/1?

      Remember that in any search engine you rank a page, not the site itself. Said that, you should link to the page where there keyword makes sence.

      If you have a keyword 1, 2 and 3, then you should take on keyword 1 and anchor text linking to a.com/1. Same applies to keyword 2 and 3.

    Let's say I'm going to submit to article directories(lets say there is 5 directories), i have keyword 1-10.

    So i link keyword 1 to a.com/1 and send to all 5 directories.

    Then keyword 2 to a.com/2 and send to all 5 directories.

    Till i finish keyword no 10. Is this process right?

    Another question related to this, how much difference will it make if i submit the same article and submitting spinned articles?

    Cause I seen in the forum sending same article is called syndication and not content duplication.

      No one knows for sure how for sure how penalized you are for duplicate countent (if you even are penalized). In my opinion you shoud not take any chances and always spin your articles as much as possible( most people agree that 30%+ is a good percentage for an article uniqueness). In Article directories like Ezine Aricles or Buzzle you should submit unique content, but to the other directories is ok to submit spined content.

      Most article directories allows you to have 2 anchor texts. I don´t know how many keywords you have, but in my opinion if you are starting, anything more than 3-4 keywords is too much. Grab the best ones you have and concentrate on those ones. If you go after many keywords you will end up having none in first page of google.

      And yes, that´s pretty much the process.
