Hello

I just ask you some informations for my website.
I just created a Website and I am in second page on Google (France)
If I gradually boost my backlinks from forums, blogs, digglike, bookmarks, can i boost my position ?
The Website #1, has poor content, PR = 1, 40 poor backlinks, domain age: 2007, 8 pages indexes in Google.

    Build more pages in your website with each page focused on a particular keyword in your niche.
    If you dont have a sitemap added , add an xml sitemap.
    Bookmark your pages in digg, stumble and delicious.

    How many pages to build ? My Website has actually 12 pages.
    Do you think that the website #1 is easy to beat ?

    Well it all depends on strength of competition. For non-competitive niches few backlinks and on-site SEO might be enough, but for high competition there will be alot of work till your website start moving.

      When my Website were indexed by Google, i was rank 12. I hope if i get good backlinks, i'll go 1 ! :-)

    If you are getting search results and traffic that's all that matters. I recommend you look into some more keywords and start adding a page for each keyword. The PR will eventually take care of itself. The more content the more traffic!

        My Website has more links, more pages, better seo value, but my site has been two weeks.
        My Website is to young to rank 1 ?
