Do Powered By Google Boxes Count as Links?

I know that search results from Yahoo, Google, etc, do not count as backlinks.

However I have gotten a few links from some sites that had a little box at the bottom that says "powered by google"

Basically this just finds related pages online and links to them in this box. Does this count as a backlink? Or is it just considered another search result which doesn't count?

      Can you post some examples of pages that have such a box? Then we will be able to tell you.
      Sorry I can't find it again. It is something that I find every now and then, but they kind of get lost in the shuffle.

      Next time I find it I'll post it back on these forums and ask again.
