A question on keywords

An an example, i have a domain called 'keyrings.com' and have a page called 'plastic keyrings'. This page is obviously about plastic keyrings, and i've littered this keyword throughout it's on page content. I've also looked at wonder wheel to gather some more phrases people are searching for in relation to keyrings and plastic keyrings, and littered these throughout the 'plastic keyrings' page content as well. However, plastic keyrings is the main keyword i'm targetting due to it's number of google searches per month, and it's adsense value per click.

Now, when i'm posting articles to directories, do i only use the 'plastic keyrings' keyword in the auto section, or do i also include some of the other ones i gained from wonder wheel, which others are searching for as well?

Some variation is anchor text is good and necessary, and also helps you achieve rankings for a larger range of longtail keywords. 3-4 word search phrases usually convert better.
