Help - Adwords Account Suspension

Hi all,

I have just gotten my Adwords account suspended.

Is there any chance for an account to be approved again after it was suspended?

If there isn't, what ways are there to use Google Adwords again?

Thanks!

    Hi,

Your account's suspension is unlikely to be revoked.

So you can either create a new account (with a new CC, address, name, etc.) or use Yahoo!/MSN Bing.

    I'm using Yahoo! now.

    Shaun is right

You could get someone else to sign up and then use their account and pay them or you could register a business, get a business Tax ID, get a business credit card and sign up under the business entity....

I haven't heard too many stories of Google revoking suspensions.....

No one wants to poke the Giant in the eye.

But have you ever heard of a business refusing to let you advertise with them?

One of these days they will be sorry!

I can understand what you're saying, but to be honest. I don't see the day that Google will be sorry for this.

They banned and suspended AdWords accounts of super affiliates that made Google hundreds of thousands of dollars every month in the notorious Google Slap last December.

I wish the day will come that Google will be sorry and will ask all the suspended accounts to join back, but I don't see that happening...

I too hope they will be sorry.

Their customer service is plain awful.

    My story goes like this:
they approved one of my ads. for about a day and a half it was running and attracting visitors. The next day I was unavailable and that's when they suddenly decided that my landing page wasn't good enough (after they have already approved it!).
the quality score went down from 7 to 1, the ad was disapproved and I didn't know anything about it cause as I said I was unavailable.
a day later I logged in, saw the problem and fixed it, but they have already decided to suspend my account and remembered to tell me about it only after I conacted them asking why my ads aren't showing.

I've sent an explanation email and asked them to reconsider their decision, but after reading this story - Suspended From Google Adwords I doubt if they will even get back to me.

Well... I guess I will just have to change my identity and move to Northern Siberia. Maybe that's how I can cover my tracks and advertise there once again.

This just happened to me the other day as well, and I can't figure out why...I've had the same pages up for years with no problem and then all of a sudden they suspend me...

And I'm the writer, creator and producer of the products, so its not affiliate links.

They didn't even let me know. I just noticed my account wasn't getting any impressions or clicks for 2 days, so I contacted them and they said I was suspended for landing page quality.

Of course, they never said what the problem was other than to send me over to their guidelines...

They are unbelievable. I've been advertising with them for like 5 years.

Will have to try another angle.

      Al

It's interesting you refer to John Jonas... I believe he had his account reinstated.

It is possible but it really depends on your situation and site, and why exactly you were suspended in the first place (if you can work it out).

I was recently banned from Google. My ads just stopped...no explanation...until I contacted them. Then they said I had violated landing page rules. Looks like they would give you a chance to make things right. I started a Bing account. They are professional and very helpful. You talk to a real person. It was a breath of fresh air after dealing with google.
I am trying Facebook now also.

The same happened with me also few months back. They had some problem with the landing page which I was advertising for many months. The sent me a warning mail first. I immediately changed my landing page and stopped that particular campaign (it was also not going well). This sorted everything for me.

Nice of them to send you a warning. From what I understand they don't do that. They simply shut down your account without saying anything. Only when you find out that your ads are not getting any impressions and clicks you contact them and only then they will tell you are banned for life.

        Alright,

So I've done a little research and found this report:
        http://adwordsunbanned.com/Adwords-U...ep-By-Step.pdf

apparently prepaid visa cards suppose to work. This way you can open new accounts cause you won't have to give the Adwords guys your real details.

        Has anybody here tried it?

I think you should go for another adword account with a different cc. I already have two accounts now.
