A client of mine gave me a tight deadline to have his site ranked well and honestly I don't think I'm going to take the deal because the time frame is a little crazy.

I would have to have his site indexed in less than 48 hours from today to get the ball rolling on this one.

Site is in the sig.

Anyone know of a good method to get a new site indexed into Google within 24 hours?

Only thing I can think of is an Xrumer blast or something to the equivalent.

Thanks

We all know the thing about SEO is that there are no guarantees. If you could get one-way link from a high PR (6+) authority site, you MIGHT be able to get it in the index. But being in the index isn't the same as being ranked.

      Agreed!

Does client understand the difference between being indexed and appearing in the search results? Two very different things ;-)

Post short article about his site to: Digg,Mixx,Propeller, should get indexed quickly.
Spend $5 and get someone on Fiverr to do it, lol.

Social bookmarking or posting articles to web 2.0 sites such as squidoo. Tweeting about the site will also helps in a faster indexing.

Getting your site indexed has nothing to do with getting it to rank. Unless you are chasing some super-super long tail keyword phrase with 10 keywords in it, a new site with no backlinks is not likely to have any of its pages rank well long-term beyond a couple of days (after the Google honeymoon) without back links. So spending time getting it indexed is worthless IMO.

You're better off spending that same time building links. Let the search engines discover it naturally. Being indexed is a worthless stat unless you are also ranking.

I'd say your client has some pretty unrealistic expectations. Then again, most people have NO IDEA how IM works at all. They think throwing up a cheap website from a free blog service (like your client has done) is all it takes.

Personally, I'd try educating them before giving them the boot. If you can make them understand the system, you might have a happy client for life. If not... well... no point in killing yourself for unrealistic expectations.

On a side note, I think it's funny that your guy/gal wants the moon in terms of your efforts, but isn't willing to shell out the $10/month for hosting and a top level domain.
