Adsense click but no revenue???

I recently installed Adsense on one of my forums to test it out. Today I had my first click, but there is no Adsense revenue showing up. Why is that? Could it be a setting in Adsense allowing non paid clicks to show up?

Do public service ad clicks show in AdSense reports? If you've just installed it It's pretty likely your getting some PSAs displayed...

Sometimes it shows clicks but no amount of payout... its most probably PSA's or clicks coming from countries that do not amount to a single cents. So it does reflect the region where your clicks are coming from or something that Google deemed as non-payable click

    hope this helps

Don't worry about that too much. It will happen, especially when the site is new...

Here's the thing. Google's "eyes" are always on the lookout.
Yes, invalid clicks happen. They happen a lot.
Sometimes, you don't even know it.

For example, let's say your first check of the day shows
8 clicks $5.00. You have no idea if you got $5 from 8 or
7 or 6. Unless you check on a constant basis.

Invalid clicks are nothing to worry about.

Unless you get 20 clicks, no cash, and do that daily.

Then they would probably suspend your adsense on that page and tell you
to clean up your visitor's acts. But that would NEVER happen to
a normal, clean, average Joe using adsense. Seriously. Google
has ways of dealing with invalid clicks. Happens to everyone.
Yes, it is true that the bigger adsense customer you are, the more
lenient google is, IMHO. They have to be. It's probably more of an
overall % of something that gets you flagged. They would have no problem not
having these invalid clicks show in your stats. But then, they want
        you to be aware.

I would care more if I was getting 1 cent a click.

If you were disappointed in your results today, lower your standards tomorrow.
