Question 1:
I'm wondering what method give huge results?

Outsorcing bookmarking? (freelancers with 1000bookmarks in 1 week)
Outsorcing article submission? (like linkvine?)
Outsorcing Directory submission
-or-
Manually bookmarking (5-10 a day for the next 2months or more)
Manual article submission (3-5 articles daily)
Directory submitting (3-5 daily)

which of which gave you great results fellow marketers?

Question 2:
Where can I find a directory of sites where I can submit Articles, directories and press releases?
#backlinks #fast #paced #prefer #slow

    Fast, slow, whatever.

You should focus on the QUALITY of the link and now how many and how quickly you can stack them up. One good quality link is worth more to your site's ranking than dozens -- maybe hundreds -- of lousy ones.

The best advice I can give you is to use the search function above to search for "quality backlinks". You'll read a lot of information about how that is defined. What's most important is what Google considers a "quality" backlink.

If that doesn't help you, let me know and I can be more specific.

      Hi steven,

Thank you for the replies and the advice. Just read some post and learned a lot. But just one question comes into my mind that is also the confusion on some warriors(as I've read in some post). How do you define quality bookmarks? because there is no certain niche for the bookmarking site. It's just pure bookmark where you choose the category.

Like with my website that is included in the tattoo niche. How can I make quality bookmarks? by putting the bookmarks in the art section of the site? what if the site doesn't have the sectioning like with DIGG? is it considered a bad bookmarking site?

Sorry I'm really confused. Hope you answer. this will really be of great help

One high quality link per week- that's all it takes.

Long term this seems to work best for me.

I agree with you hotfuna. The longer the better it shows to google a natural way of creating your backlinks. Avoid penalty from google, where they called sandbox.

Quality backlinks usually means your backlinks should come from relevant sites with content similar to your niche. Also helps if the sites have good PR. There are several article directories and ezines- goarticles.com, ezinearticles- do a google search and you will get plenty. Make sure you submit your article in relevant categories on these sites.

If quality is so important, then why spammers are on the first positions of google?
Sorry guys - but I do not believe one bit in what you're saying.
Right now in a lot of cases, these "natural" sites are easily outranked by guys using outright and bold spamming methods

Yes correct, most of the time spammers ranked easily in the top page but then this is only temporary. It is something like building a business make money and suddenly gone.

Google engineer is always looking into the matters and definitely re-engineering their search algorithm will affect and hit those spammers.

I'm afraid that it's not neccessarily the case.
They'll not hit 'those spammers' because they don't treat them as one in the first place. There is an interesting discussion about the topic between Aaron Wall from Seobook.com and Rand Fishkin from Seomoz.org, on what is spam and why is google not punishing those usuing dodgy techniques. For me neither of them nailed the core of the problem.
Google for their part says that they will NOT punish people for link building, and Aaron is argumenting - and rightly so imo - that it's the right approach.
What is wrong - again just my opinion - is the fact that google doesn't seem to see the difference in the value between editorial and forum signatures/blog comments, and on the other hand if dealing with forum/blog links, they don't seem to differentiate the links based on the relevancy.
I doesn't make any sense for me to 'hit anyone' by putting them in some kind of sand box. Just incorporate better methods measuring positive signals (ie. link to the car site from weight loss forum should be as valuable as link to the car site from the car site forum, and link from car site blog article to car selling website should be more valuable that the one to from weight loss blog, because it's simply irrelevant)

got your point. Spam or don't spam just make it Consistent and irrelevant links,

I know how to create quality backlinks. And as universal_soul said Spamming is on top. For me that means the spammer got lots of QUALITY links for his spams. like 60-80% quality links.

But people what i am Asking is for BOOKMARKS not backlinks.
How do you define QUALITY BOOKMARKING SITE?
that is where my confusion comes into place..

    Thanks in advance ^^,

It doesn't really seem to make a difference, fast or slow from what I've seen. I have generally gone slow, my PR is really bad {0} but I rank OK. I guess do what everyone seems to say and if slow doesn't do it, up the speed a little till you get results.

      I'll just try this setup.

      Daily
      5 bookmarks
      3 article submission
      1-3 Blog commenting
1 comment on social sites like facebook etc.
      ping all of them
      and
Create 1 page every 2 days plus 1press release for every page I created

What do you think? will this work or do you have any addition?

      Thanks,

Guys please correct me if I'm wrong
According to my experience your getting a VALID backlinks(not considered a spam if you search it in google and it shows as a search result.

another ways is to go to your hosting company and right there in the buttom you can see what website links to your site. (I use host gator btw)

You can also try using alexa. Type your website and before the search you can see there competiton and links. Links is your backlink.

Yeah got it. if I make it fast I might ran out of links by day 10. So i'll just make it consistent and not too slow.

If your web site is relatively new then you should focus on slower link building and high quality links. It wouldn't look natural if your site is a week old and suddenly received 1000 backlinks.

It's pointless. What means "natural" and natural to who? If google doesn't care why should I even bother to look 'natural"?

i second to this. I now know.. I got few preachers that says it doesn't matter how fast or how slow you do it. The main concern of Google is the Quality, the PR and The RELEVANCE of the links you have. As long as you don't ping all the 1000 backlinks then there is no problem at all.

  • The biggest thing in ranking well, is CONSITANCY. So if your doing 100 backlinks a week, continue to keep it up. If your doing 1000 a week, continue this week over week.

Personally I would build links slower and try to improve the quality of them. I would also not outsource them as their are many places online where you can easily build some inbound links.

Do it all by hand and don't use any automation.

      Hi,

I know someone who is selling VOIP services and he himself built lots of back-links to his landing page. When I asked about the quality of those links, he said it does not really matter as long as there is not really too much competition. I've checked his back-links from Seomoz and saw that his distribution was uneven. Some back-links came from sites that had nothing to do with VOIP. This guy just got his 10,000 customer! I don't agree with some of you saying that link building has to be consistent. If this guy does it and runs a company like this, I guess consistency is not really that much of an importance, especially to Google.

I believe number of back-links are more important for less competitive niches than those of quality links. I am not an expert of this subject but after doing some back-link research on some sites I realized that quality does not really matter.

Whatever the method you use whether fast or slow , it should be qualitative...means build 10 quality links instead of 100 non-quality links...article submissions give lot of exposure as per my seo experience...so write as much content as you can and syndicate it to various press releases, article directories, create blogs, use RSS etc..

As said above....slow or fast doesn't matter as long as your getting quality backlinks...

      My process on new sites?

      Indexing the Site:

I setup the site and create the rss feed....
      Ping the feed and site...
Submit the site to the top social bookmarking sites to get the indexing spiders on their way

hit up a few high pr , do follow , relevant blogs.

      Backlinks:

      Week One

I normally create two articles on my niche (not using exact keywords). Spin the second article a few times to 80% uniquness.

Submit the first article to Ezine to get it in line to be reviewed and live
Submit the second article to the other top article directories.

Submit the spun article to the top press release sites.

      Week Two, Three, & Four:

10 comments on high Pr, do follow , relevant blogs after reading them
10 profiles on higher Pr, do follow, relevant forums (don't post only profile)
1 article on niche - spun once to 80%. this is submitted on Monday -hopefully by Friday the article is live. I submit the spun version to the other top article directories once the article in Ezine is live (normally Friday).
      ===========================================
30+ backlinks per week plus whatever pans out from articles

After the first month I start bumping up my efforts to say

20 comments on high Pr, do follow , relevant blogs after reading them
20 profiles on higher Pr, do follow, relevant forums (don't post only profile)
1 article on niche - spun once to 80%. this is submitted on Monday -hopefully by Friday the article is live. I submit the spun version to the other top article directories.

Sounds like a lot of work but if you do this everyweek the backlinks start to really pile up fast and they high quality links with the articles and a few ones with the blogs/profiles....the blogs and profiles do fall off after a while but once you start to make some dough on the site you can out source most of that work anyways.
