Question about domain names with dashes...

I have a situation where I need some expert advice. I have purchased a domain name with dashes in it, let's pretend it is free-golf-tips (dot) com. The same KW phrase is available as a .net and a .org without the dashes. There are some similar phrases available as a .com, such as myfreegolftips and freegolftipsonline.

What should I do? Keep what I have or buy the .org and .net? How about the my or online words in the domains? I plan on building traffic primarily through JVs, Twitter and forums, so SEO is not foremost on my mind at this point. I am looking for something that looks and sounds good, as I am thinking that will be more important initially than a pure SEO standpoint. Any and all comments are welcome...thanks!

Even though you're not aiming at seo I have found that dashes does great with seo as long as the keywords are in the domain name keywords first, it can have a "1" or whatever after it . it shouldn't be a problem though, but i would rather have the .org and .net. me personally wouldn't pick the "my" since it's infront of the keyword. dashes work great either for seo or marketing on social platforms cause it makes it easy to read.

it's totally up to you to run a test on it first or just buy the other one you think flows better. but hurry and do what ever you have to do before the domain name you want is taken.

here is my examples of keyword rich domains in the order i make my choice

    abc.com
    abc.org.
    abc.net

    a-b-c.com
    a-b-c.org
    a-b-c.net

    abc1.com
    abc1.org
    abc1.net

p.s all good for seo and all good for reading it on social media sites
    hope that helps

If you are using dashes in your domain, then you may get priority based on those two or more keywords which you are using in your domain..

Thanks for your opinions! I am going to buy the .net and .org ones too, just in case I find the dashes don't work out.
