Adding Content Makes You Drop in Ranking?

Hey everyone,

I run a simple e-commerce website. I am currently optimizing 2 of my pages and since both of them have very little content i thought that could be good to add some content(unique) around by keyword. I did this about 10 hours ago, and just now checked my rankings. I had 2 keywords for each page and all 4 of them droped 1-2 places in google.

Did this ever happened to you?

    I don't think you have enough information to develop a causal relationship. Sometimes updates to a page can have temporary negative impacts (especially recently), but taking the steps to increase the richness of your content for long term growth is not something you should wait to do either.
