What SEO Tool Would You Pay For?

I'm having a custom SEO tool created for me by a developer right now. And I plan to have additional tools created in the future.

Which leads me to my question, what SEO tool would you pay for?

If you've got a specific problem that a tool could fix, I'm willing to bet other people are having the same problem too. If you're tool solves a specific problem, I might just make it myself and let you use you.

Side note, if you've created an SEO tool in the past... I'd love to interview you for my blog and get you some relevant backlinks.

Thanks for your responses.

None. Not to take away from your money making idea, but I am under the mindset that SEO is basically Free as it's pretty much just a matter of learning and then utilizing the knowledge learned. I don't advise people to spend money on anything SEO related except maybe purchasing good, reputable books, such as The Art of SEOThe Art of SEO and Marketing in the Age of GoogleMarketing in the Age of Google . There are all sorts of expensive tools and services out there but they're not really worth the money, and a lot of them perform actions that Google highly suggests not.

@HunterSnake.. I understand that a lot of people don't like to pay for SEO tools: It costs money. But there's no solution you'd pay a small fee to have fixed? Seriously?

I personally pay for a couple tools like the SEO Moz Pro Tools and SEM Rush.

If you're doing work on a lot multiple websites, it makes sense to pay a few bucks to save time with SEO.

I find the time they save me are well worth the monthly price tag. But I would never pay for a crap tool I didn't get much use out of.

Everyone's approach is different, and I wasn't trying to take away from your business at all. =) I do hope you have a lot of success!

That being said, I am one of those people who have, for example, watched every Google Webmaster Help YouTube posting. I also have studied "SEO from the Source", i.e. the official doctrines of the search engines, in depth.

A lot of those tools can be useful, but a lot of it isn't really necessary either, IMO. Some people pay for PageRank monitoring stuff... I don't pay attention to PageRank at all. I love SEOmoz, don't get me wrong. I've also tried their tools out just to see what it was all about but I didn't find any of it helpful. Admittedly, this was a few years ago.

Has a lot changed with regards to SEOmoz's tools?

I'm not sure when you last used the moz tool bar, but essentially everything has been made simpler, and much, much more accurate. It's the only SEO tool, other than a blog builder, that I would ever need to handle multiple clients.

The link tracker alone is worth the cash. Not to mention that with payment and production of quality content comes the possibility of guest blogging.

I've seen you reference the "Art of SEO" book several times; however, I've found that nearly SEO book that I've read is severely simplistic and outdated. Or it suffers from ignoring off-site optimization. If I were ever to buy a book to further my knowledge, I would want it to cover off-site optimization almost exclusively. Now that my mini-rant is over, how is it for someone whose familiar with the business?

I have tried different kind of SEO Tools and still can't find a nice SEO tool that meets my satisfaction so in the end I really still depend on my knowledge and skills then just use some free SEO Tools for guidance.

Honestly I don't think I'd pay for any SEO Tool. I haven't found any as valuable as an amalgamation of the free knowledge on the WF and free resources such as All In One SEO Pack for WP.

There are plenty of good SEO tools on the market. If you truly want to build a tool to sell, build an SEO management tool that helped consultants/SEO companies run their business. Everything from managing contractors to clients to reporting.

Personally, I love SENuke.... Well worth the money.

There are several others out there, but that is the only one I use...

LinkDozer (SEO and Content Management Tool) is another one though..

I'd like to see an example of a tool that can fix an seo problem
that isn't on the free list.

I use certain seo tools, but they are all free.

I make frequent visits to netmechanic.com for image optimization,
as an example of free and useful.

It looks like my initial question is missing its intended mark.

Forget the paid vs non paid tool stuff.

What SEO tool would you actually use? If I can get a common theme, I might just make it.

Seriously, there's got to be something.

Personally I use webposition (webposition dot com) but trialed it first free of charge. We pay for the premium pack at $49 per month but if you only have one website you could probably just use the free version!

If you really want your website to cash-flows you'll have to gain lot of traffic first and if your tired doing such SEO stuff you can try to outsource it, or maybe you can hire an SEO expert so it will run smoothly besides investing in the right business is not bad.

I would pay for directory submission. All I would do is to search for a directory that has a good PR and then choose it. I would like to go for paid directories as one of the effective tools of SEO.

Hi, it is great if you can workout on SEO tools to facilitate links building like link wheel, bookmarking, directory linking... etc. Other tools than SENuke does: bookmarking or link wheel.

@Taycky22 - Agreed. Most SEO books are out of date. Although, the on-page stuff you can learn from them is perfect for getting started. I've never heard of the "art of seo" although I doubt there's anything there I haven't heard before.... Not to come off sounding like a cocky, but there's only so far you can take on-page optimization.

@zhaff Thanks for your feedback. It seems to be that link building is the greatest pain point and has the most potential. I like your idea of a tool that facilitates numerous link building strategies.

Micro Niche Finder is my no.1 Must have.
    Backlink booster and bookmarkWiz.
Scrapebox isn't bad either but its more blackhat.

They all stack and do great jobs.

Would cost about 300$ for all of them.
I wrote a bookmarkwiz review Here if you want to know more, For the rest you will need to google them down.

    Hope this helps you McBrett
