Own a lot of high traffic sites and recently noticed that my site TeethWhitener.net was deindexed from google. Why did that happen? Even if I type in TeethWhitener.net it does not show up in google. I still have a listing in yahoo/bing.

Any suggestions on how to get it reindexed?

Simply bookmark your site content to any of the top bookmarking sites such as Twitter, Facebook or Digg. The bots are always hanging around there and will follow your bookmarked link to your site and subsequently re-index.

Also, your site may not have been de-indexed. It may just be the "Google dance". Watch for some time, your site may re-appear in the listing.

My biggest site once disappeared from the index for a day and a half. Wouldn't show up when I searched for site:mysitename.com, and during that period I got 0 organic visits from google search.

When it came back, it took about a week for me to see normal traffic, and from there traffic started increasing for weeks to come. Turned out disappearing marked the start of an up-slope. Hope the same happens for you. -- Patey88

To get reindexed, you may have to resort to SEO techniques like article marketing and blog commenting without being dubbed as a spammer of course.

I don't think your site is de-indexed in Google,I found that 71 pages of your site are already indexed in Google & searching for teethwhitener.net is opening your site. You would have to recheck about it.

Being "de-indexed" and simply not ranking at all are two different things

when you search site:teethwhitener.net you do find the site and all the pages

when you search teethwhitener.net you get nothing

      Here's some food for thought

Just two days ago I heard (on a UK radio station) that Google is clamping down on health related ads and amongst other things teeth whitening came under the list of things they're clamping down on

I don't remember the exact details but it was something to do with people advertising products that could be harmful to your long term health so they're getting strict

side note: they did this a few years ago with gambling ads, now you need a license to advertise, somthing similar coming here maybe??

Now I know your not buying Ads but Google may be looking at their natural rankings and wanting to clean the results up

They may have looked at your site and decided to remove it because it isn't really very useful (no offence) or you may be an affiliate for a product that Google has been alerted to as being harmful

I think it would be in Google's interest to make their natural results clean of sites that could be advertising unproven products (I'm not saying that's what you're doing)

If it isn't that then the only other explanation is some sort of Google dance which does happen from time to time (but rare) if you aren't building links in large quantities and I've looked at your link profile and you definitely aren't doing that

    How old is your site?
If it's a new site, it's normal.. it's probably coz of google dance..
Keep building natural back link, and try to submit to social bookmark sites
It will be indexed again soon

You have done something that was not according to the guidelines of Google.Either you have done too much seo or else your landing page does not matches the keywords. My advice to you is that resubmit your site to Google.Make sure if site:your domain shows some results then probably your site is not deindexed.
