Creation of Facebook page

At first, it can be confusing to remember how to find Facebook Pages. Since Facebook changed its appearance once again in Feb. 2010 (sigh), it's actually easier to find the Facebook Pages icon. It should be a default icon on the left-hand side of your feed page (see screenshot on right). Click it, and you'll see the "Ads and Pages" icon.

You can add Facebook Pages as a "bookmark" directly on that bar, just like I did in the screenshot to your right. To do this, select "Account" > "Application Settings" on the upper right of the screen, then find "Ads and Pages" on the list (if it's not on the list, choose "Authorized" from the drop-down box, and the list of applications should be more expansive). Click "Edit Settings" and check the box for "Bookmark Ads and Pages." With the Pages icon bookmarked, you'll have a fast way to access your list of Facebook Pages as it will now be on the left-hand bar from now on.

      What does that have to do with creation of facebook pages?
      I thought I was going to get some tips on actually creating
      a fan page or something. facebook for me has been nothing but
      social. My business accounts got canned due to business and
      personal not mixing on facebook. Start a group or fan page or
      your personal account could get suspended for breaking TOS.

      So, to actually get this thread on the right track, which would be
      useful...

      What are some tips to creating a fan page or group and get all
      the business juice you can?

        As far as I know, you can only have one Facebook account, so how can you create pages and groups not through your personal account ?

          I think what he means is that you cant solicit and try to advertise to your friends on facebook unless you do it though a fan page other wise facebook will disable your account....
