Ive had pages up as long as some blog posts but still they don't seem to be getting indexed, while the blog posts do!

What's happening here and how can I get my Wordpress Pages indexed faster?

I have the All in one SEO pack installed. What does the option 'Use noindex for archieves' mean?

This was previously checked but I have since unchecked it becuase I thought it might be having an affect on my wordpress pages being indexed.

Good call! Noindex means it won't be indexed

I would just give it some time as they were told to stay away it will take them a few more days to try again most likely. You could definitly build up some links to the pages (from relevant sites and blog) with relevant anchor text to entice them to visit sooner.

    Thanks Brad.

Strange that would be a default option for an SEO Pack which I assume was created to optimize my SE rankings rather than de-optimize them! lol.

Thanks though. I can be patient now I know.

Glad to help. Google is pretty good about understanding where you place your primary focus now when using WordPress. It used to be not.. so.. good. Hop back on if your pages aren't ranking better than your posts in a few days.

Ok...this is weird but its still not indexing my pages.

I have articles on eza, as well as other article directories, which have links pointing to several pages on my blog. These articles have been approved, and I can find these articles in SE's myself. So surely these spiders are crawling these directories and finding my pages, no? (i know not all of my links will be 'follow' links.)

What's going on? I'm confused and don't get it.

Its not as if nothing of my site shows up in the SERPs. Some of the pages, like about, contact us, etc show...but not my other pages.

I definitely have links to them from these article directories and have even noticed some of my articles already being syndicated and republished with my links elsewhere.

This is so frustrating! Somebody please help!

I have another site which i have thrown zero link juice to that have pages being indexed fine. I'm using the same theme, virtually the same layout and everything. What's going on?

I see you have an empty sig file here? Use it to put some links to your un indexed blog pages and see what happens :-)

"A guy I know" ... wrote a Wordpress seo plugin just for this very issue ;-)

I'm also now experiencing a similar issue, in that a website i created 10 days ago using wordpress has yet to be indexed. I've created 5 pages so far, pinged all of them, as well as posted a couple of articles linking back to the main site, but nothing as yet........
