Not sure if this is breaking TOS as my searches still do not answer this, but can you have multiple adwords accounts and bid on the same keywords but different sites? Meaning SiteA has the same keywords as SiteB but they are totally different site domains.
Thanks

There are tools in the interface to allow you to do this. You can rotate ads and edit the urls of each ad instead of bidding against yourself and driving the CPC up.

Yeah, but what if a browser enters in the search engine example "laptop" and and I have 2 seperate sites that sell laptops.
I want both of my sites to display in the search engine when the user does a search for laptop.

I think this may not be possible as I am sure people would just abuse the system by bidden on every position for all their sites.

Or can this really be done, to display my 2 sites for same keyword different positions on the exact time when the search happens.
    Thanks

Yes, but Why would you like to do that? you would be increasing the prices on the same keywords yourself?, what you should do is split testing on your ads, and leave the one that gets the best CTR.

Well the only reason I was curious about this was, I wanted to see if I can get more sales by having my products on multiple locations of the ad space in the search engines.
Meaning SiteA and SiteB are my sites which sell similar products.
Let me know if this can be done.
      Thanks

the short answer is NO, do not go there or you will be banned.

    One at a time please

If you are using a Google account the following rules are applicable – “In order to preserve the quality and diversity of ads running on Google, individuals advertising for themselves or for their own businesses may only have a single AdWords account unless explicitly advised otherwise by Google. “

“This means that we don't allow advertisers or affiliates to have any of the following: Ads across multiple accounts for the same or similar businesses, Ads across multiple accounts triggered by the same or similar keywords”

“Only client managers (such as third parties or search engine marketers) who use a My Client Center can have multiple AdWords accounts. All associated accounts must be linked to the manager's MCC account.”
