Instead of using the long and boring process of using the keyword Google tool, there is another feature that Google offers you that works pretty well...

If you go to the Google search engines, you will find on the sidebar of options, that it has an option of "Wonder Wheel" when you click on that, type in the keywords you want the wonder wheel related to...

Google will give you similar keywords in that category, but these are not just any keywords, these are keywords that Google allows you to rank for if you use them...

Google is basically telling you, that if you pick any of those keywords in the Wonder Wheel then Google will rank you...

it's a pretty cool, and fast way of getting the money keywords which people are searching for and that you will get ranked for

I have a blueprint about this. I didn't notice about this strategy. I hope to apply it in the future. Thanks for the sharing

Does this mean that if you use these keywords for articles google will rank you high easier than other keywords?

It isn't quite that automatic. What the Wonder Wheel is giving you is a list of phrases or words that Google's algorithm sees as highly related.

For example, if you search for 'dog training', the WW gives you phrases like

          > puppy training
          > dog training tricks
          > dog leash training
          > dog obedience training

          and so on.

If, when you write your article on 'dog training', you can work in some of these related words, you tell the spider that, yes, this article is closely related to 'dog training'... Doing so can help you get better ranking than if you don't make it easy.

Another use for these highly related keywords is as anchor text when you start building back links.

Yeah you can possibly rank quite high in articles for these key phrases, alot of the time it works not saying it always does, but I use it often and it ranks quite a bit

Does this method really work? I tried to doing keyword research and it took me at least about a couple of hours to get a few keywords that seemed promising. Still in the process of checking if my method works well. If not, I'll try your suggestion.

Google is just telling you the exact same (key)words you would have discovered IF you deeply researched a niche.

Obviously, this is quicker then researching a niche but in the long run, the more you research, the more untouched (key)words you'll discover.

Although those keywords are being searched a lot, it does NOT mean that they're actual "money keywords" - the REAL Money is in the keywords that BUYERS are searching for.

Just wanna make that clear to everyone reading this, because nobody else has brought it up yet.

I was using the wonderwheel to do what your describing, and then last week switched over to Brad Callens new niche finder tool, which to me is a bit better because of the data that it gives you.

No matter what you use though, there are things that you can do with the data that give you a BETTER chance to rank - nothing is guaranteed with Google...

Let's say that you are in a mild - moderately competitive niche and associated keywords, here's who I like to use it.

As an example, lets say that my niche is something like reverse cell phone lookups...

I go to the wonderwheel, and put that in, and it might give me something like this...

Base Keyword: Reverse cell phone lookup

      Wonderwheel results:

      1. Reverse phone lookup
      2. AT&T reverse cell phone lookup
      3. Sprint Reverse cell phone lookup
      4. Cell phone lookup
      5. Reverse cell trace
The first thing that I'm going to do is to set up a site of some sorts..Usually a blog, and I'm going to set each of those keywords up AS IT'S OWN CATEGORY.

Once I do that, I'm going to:

Have a piece of content written on each keyword. So in this case it would be a total of 6 articles - one for the main keyword and then one for each of the wonder wheel results. Each article is going to probably be 800 -1000 words. Each article is going to target one keyword specifically, but will also sub-target each one of the wonderwheel keywords in it.

Each one of the articles will be put into the category associated for that keyword...

Pull the RSS feed of the whole blog
Pull the RSS of Each category
      Mass The feeds together
      Submit all feeds

Now, I'm going to go to the next level of the wonderwheel...and it might give me something like:

How to trace a cell phone
      cell phone tracing
      cellular phone lookup
find out who owns cell number
      blah
      blah

What I'm going to do with each one of these keywords is to build mini-nets off of each one of the categories that were assigned on the blog. So, in this case, I would need a total of 1 mini-net for each category.

Best case scenario is that your mini-nets are build on domains that you own and control on separate IP addresses...if you don't want to do that, you can use wikis or web2.0 sites as well.

Because the keywords that you find on level2 of the wonderwheel probably won't be very competitive, if you mix the keywords in the content the same way that you did on the original blog, you can set up some automated backlinking, and more than likely start to see some of these properties rank pretty quickly.

Ultimately what will happen is that you will star to see the individual pages and categories on the site/blog move up as the relevant mini-nets start to gain traction....So, the traffic will definitely come, but then you have to worry about conversions...because keyword rich content in most niches doesn't convert as well as content that is designed to sell...

I know that whole explanation is sloppy as hell, but it's the best I could muster as I struggle to keep my eyes open

Jeremy, you are giving away some golden information!

This is the technique I use to setup blogs that I use with my PPC campaigns.

This works like crazy for getting really high quality scores which help me get cheaper clicks.

The wonder wheel is definitely a great tool to use.

I have also used the very technique Jeremy is talking about to rank a site really quickly for local search.

It's almost comical how easy it is to rank a site for local search doing this.

But the real reason I wanted to post here is because of the point Omar is making:

Originally Posted by OmarBriones View Post

I totally agree with Omar on this one.

Since the title of the thread mentioned how to find the "Money Keywords," I wanted to back Omar up on this.

Nothing against the OP, but the wonder wheel alone ain't gonna get you the "Money Keywords."

In my experience, the only true way to do that is drive some traffic, track that traffic and analyze the data you have gathered.

Tools can definitely give you a really good indication, but ultimately you will need to track your traffic and let the data reveal them to you.

My 2 cents for what it's worth.

            Thanks you!

I think money keywords are keywords that actual buyers are searching for - what I meant by that is: keywords that people are typing in, to find a particular product, that they are already sold on, & wanna buy with their credit card in hand.

I just wrote an ebook that covers all this, that's called "Magic Keywords That Bring You Riches"

I priced it at 20 bucks, but I'm gonna offer it as a WSO for 5 bucks.

              Good luck on your WSO.

I have a guide I wrote called "Hot Buyer Keywords" and I got yet to release it.

The wonder wheel is great, but the same information is located at the bottom of the regular google search results page under "Searches related to background checks". The same 8 wonder wheel results are on the bottom of the page! (at least they are in Firefox)

It gets sort of brain scrambling when you dig deeper and deeper. Reminded me of an amway presentation I saw 30 years ago...all those little dots and people going on down the page for infinity...
